* At Metro Blvd we pride ourselves on differentiated instruction. What is differentiated instruction? We find out everything we can about the student: strengths, weaknesses, learning style (visual, audio, hands on) then tailor our courses to fit that students needs.
*Every student is assigned to an Advocacy teacher and meets with that teacher every Wednesday for 45 minutes. That teacher helps with tracking credits for the student, goal setting, and post-secondary planning.
* Many of our classes are "project-based" and teachers work together to create projects that are cross-curricular.
* We are planning to pilot a 9th/10th grade Academy (school within our school) this next school year.
* Metro Blvd incorporates a wide variety of current technology: internet, computers, blackboard, Smart Boards, clickers, Video cameras, Digital cameras, to name a few.
